Saying goodbye to the NMC Art Sims…

Sadly, it is time to say goodbye to the sim that houses the Aho Museum(NMC Campus West) & the sim of Ars Simulacra.  Both sims, provided by the New Media Consortium, have showcased some of the finest artists Second Life has to offer since 2006. The full sim exhibit celebrates ART with MUSIC, MOTION, LIGHT & COLOR.  Join us in Second Life on Sunday, December 18th at 12pm slt. Global Kids Present in Second Life

Recently a group called Global Kids met up in Second Life to produce and take part in a virtual world talk show called "Let's Talk Sustainability." In the first episode, Global Kids teen leaders gathered in Second Life to share a video clip from The Meatrix, as well as a slideshow describing the production of a fast food product.  They discussed the video and slideshow and shared a game where audience members were able to participate and  express their opinions on ... more...
