It looks like the project is dead -- see http://ajaxlife.net/client/

AjaxLife service has been terminated until Linden Lab repair Teen Grid signups, which have been broken for eighteen months out of the last twenty-four. See WEB-734.

Thanks Katharine! I am running the 2.0 software on my iPod. I got replies sending back and forth from iPod to my PC here. I was not getting replies to other contacts I IM-ed from the iPod tho at least assured me she got them.

Regardless, its a fabulous concept (and humble apologies for the name goof, I was anxious to publish the story!)

I've had a variety of odd bug reports in relation to receiving IMs, but am failing dismally to find (or, indeed, reproduce) them. None-the-less, I am looking into the things. :p You *should* receive replies, at least on the 2.0 software (anything earlier is untested unless I can steal my dad's iPod touch).

Oh, and my name's Katharine. Two As, one E, and no L. :) (because nobody ever gets it right!)
